AUGUST
• Mon. 24: First day of fall 2026 classes.
• Mon. 24, 5:30-7 p.m.: City and Campus Involvement Fair, Kathleen and Tom Elam Center (university only).
• Thu. 27, 4:30-6:30 p.m.: Third annual Skyhawk Palooza, Veterans Park adjacent to Hardy M. Graham Stadium. Current faculty and staff and each member of their immediate household will receive a $10 voucher good at the food trucks or the official Skyhawk Team Shop. Faculty and staff may also request two complimentary tickets to the game and purchase additional tickets for $12 each. Registration for these vouchers was to be completed by the end of the day on Aug. 24. Vouchers and tickets can be obtained at the Chancellor’s Office, Room 326 Hall-Moody Administration Building, on Tuesday, Aug. 25; Wednesday, Aug. 26; or by lunchtime on Thursday, Aug. 27.

• Thu. 27: Partial lunar eclipse, 9:33 p.m. (Aug. 27)-12:52 a.m. (Aug. 28) (times are approximate), 96% of the moon’s face covered by Earth’s shadow at the time of greatest eclipse (11:13 p.m.).
• Sun. 30, 7 p.m.: Women’s soccer vs. Marshall, Skyhawk Soccer Field.
• Mon. 31, 7-10 p.m.: National Pan-Hellenic Council Yard Show, Greek Garden. The Divine Nine organizations showcase their pride, culture, history and traditions. This event opens NPHS Week at UT Martin, Aug. 31-Sept. 4.

• Wed. 2, 11 a.m.: Care Team Cookout, Boling University Center Patio.
• Thu. 3, 7 p.m.: Women’s soccer vs. Belmont, Skyhawk Soccer Field.
• Sat. 5, 3:30-5 p.m.: Welcome reception, hosted by Chancellor Yancy Freeman Sr. and first lady Rafielle Freeman and the UTM Women’s Club, spirit dress suggested, Dunagan Alumni Center.
• Sat. 5, 6 p.m.: Football vs. Chicago State, Hall of Fame Game, Hardy M. Graham Stadium (Chicago State’s first-ever NCAA Division I football opponent and first-ever football road game).
• Mon. 7: Labor Day holiday.

• Fri. 11, 3:30 p.m.: Softball vs. Dyersburg State Community College (exhibition), Bettye Giles Softball Field.
