The 65th annual Miss UT Martin Pageant will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, in the Watkins Auditorium of the Boling University Center.
Tickets for the pageant are $12 and will be sold at the door.
Eight UTM students will compete for the crown in the pageant: Maleia Bigham of Turtletown; Jaida Fann of Dickson; Faith Godoyo of Elkville, Illinois; Elayna Sides of Soddy Daisy; Kiya Simmons of Sparta; Sierra Smith of Newland, North Carolina; D’Ambrah Watts of Jackson, Mississippi; and Sloan Wiggs of Tullahoma.
The event marks the end of the reign of Carleigh Jo Erwin of Dyersburg (shown in photo), who was crowned Miss UT Martin on Nov. 15.
The pageant is one of 19 preliminaries to the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant and is the fourth preliminary to be held thus far this season.
The Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant will be held July 24-27, 2024, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson.
The winner of the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant will compete in the Miss Volunteer America Pageant in June 2025.
