UT Martin students will share their travel-study, study-abroad and summer-school experiences in Japan during a “Meet Japan” program from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6, in Room 230 of the Boling University Center. The program is sponsored by the Japan Outreach Initiative, known as JOI.
Tye Ebel, consulate-general of Japan in Nashville, will be the guest speaker. He will talk about the opportunity to live and work in Japan through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program.
Erina Toyama, coordinator of the JOI program, will give a presentation on Japanese culture. Those in attendance will be able to make nametags with their names in Japanese.
