QUESTION
The demolition of both Browning Hall and the Business Administration Building will create large quantities of debris. Are any materials saved for other uses?
RESPONSE
The contractor for the new residence hall is stockpiling the concrete and brick debris and will crush it to use in the “fill” for the project to reduce the amount of outside fill required. Fill is added to low or uneven areas to raise, level or stabilize the ground. It’s not yet known how the Business Administration Building debris will be handled.
