The paper was titled “Soaking Up the Storm: Lab-Based Evaluation of Porous Pavements for Urban Flood Control.

Dr. Jamye Long, professor of management, was awarded the 2026 College of Business and Global Affair’s Outstanding Teaching Award in recognition of her “unwavering commitment to academic excellence and student success.” The purpose of the award is “to promote and recognize excellence in teaching within the College of Business and Global Affairs with emphasis on innovative and engaging approaches to teaching.” Eligibility criteria for the award are to be a full-time faculty member with at least two years teaching experience in the college and an average teaching evaluation score of 4.0 for the most recent academic year.
