The University of Tennessee at Martin’s annual Family Weekend is set for Oct. 25-27 at the main campus. The event welcomes current students and their families for a weekend of activities, food and Skyhawk sports.
Family Weekend opens at 4 p.m. Friday with Food Truck Night in downtown Martin where food, games, music and a “Family Feud” style game show will be featured. Saturday’s activities open with the Family Weekend 5K starting at 8 a.m. at the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center lawn, followed by Donuts with Deans at 9:30 a.m. in the university’s Paul Meek Library. The Skyhawk Tailgate Party begins at noon at Hardy Graham Stadium before the 2 p.m. football game when the Skyhawks face traditional conference rival Eastern Illinois.
Sunday will feature a Family Weekend Brunch in Skyhawk Dining Hall followed by the Skyhawks’ Senior Day home soccer match at 2 p.m. at Skyhawk Soccer Field with Eastern Illinois.
