Tickets for one of the University of Tennessee at Martin’s most popular annual events, the UT Martin Spring College Rodeo, are on sale now.
The 58th annual UTM Spring College Rodeo features several men’s and women’s rodeo teams from the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association’s Ozark Region competing Thursday, April 9, through Saturday, April 11, in the Ned McWherter Agricultural Complex north of Hardy M. Graham Stadium. Competitions begin at 7:30 nightly, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Parking is available in the football stadium parking lot.
The Ned McWherter Agricultural Complex begins its fourth decade of service to the university and the Martin-Weakley County community.
The UT Martin men’s rodeo team ranks fourth this week in the NIRA Ozark Region, while the Skyhawk women’s rodeo team ranks fifth. Other schools in the Ozark Region include Missouri Valley College (ranked first in men’s and women’s rodeo), West Alabama and Southern Arkansas. Ozark Region participants whose rodeo teams are not varsity teams include Arkansas-Monticello, Kentucky, Arkansas Tech and Southern Arkansas.
All tickets are reserved seating, with admission being $12 for Thursday, $20 for Friday and $20 for Saturday, with an option to purchase a $52 season ticket that covers all sessions. Children 5 and under get in free but must sit in an adult’s lap.
Tickets may be purchased at utmsports.com/rodeotickets. People select the specific day they plan to attend in order to purchase tickets and may purchase tickets for that day, purchase a season ticket for all three days, select an online streaming season pass for all three days or a single-day online streaming ticket.
The UT Martin Spring College Rodeo takes place during a busy home sports weekend for the Skyhawks.
The stunt team, which won its first 10 competitions of the season, will host the Mid-America West Conference Tournament April 10-12 in the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center. The MAWC features Kentucky, Missouri State, Central Arkansas, Mercyhurst and Northern Kentucky.
