MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin has received a variety of national and state rankings for program quality and value in recent weeks.
The UT Martin MBA program is ranked 12th nationally by BestValueSchools.org. The university’s College of Business and Global Affairs, which houses the online MBA program, was also recognized for offering one of the “top-50 best online bachelor’s degrees in business economics for 2018,” as ranked by BestCollegeReviews.org. The UT Martin degree program is 23rd on this list.
SR Education Group has ranked the university’s online master’s degree program in school counseling 20th among the best online college programs in 2018 and 23rd among the most affordable online programs for the same year.
In addition to these two programs, UT Martin’s overall online program offerings gained the university a place among the “best online colleges in Tennessee in 2018,” as listed by AffordableCollegesOnline.org. UT Martin is number 11 on this list, with UT Knoxville following at number 12.
UT Martin also received recognition in several categories on CollegeFactual.com’s annual college ranking scorecard. The university is listed as a “best college for the money” for all undergraduates (fifth in Tennessee), undergraduates not receiving financial aid (fourth), and undergraduates receiving financial aid (sixth).
CollegeFactual.com also focuses on individual programs, and UT Martin’s Department of Agriculture, Geosciences and Natural Resources fared especially well. The agricultural program is listed first among the “most focused” programs, second among the “most popular” choices and fifth among “best value” schools. The natural resources management major is ranked ninth among “most focused” programs.
UT Martin also made the list of the “best schools for veterans studying general agriculture” with a fourth-place finish nationally and a number-one ranking statewide.
