The UT Martin Generations Collaborative: Building Multigenerational Partnerships Across Campus is a new initiative from the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of Ombuds Services designed to bring employees at different career and life stages together to learn from one another.
Participants are paired across generations to share experiences, learn about each other’s work and build relationships across campus. Through one-on-one conversations, group gatherings and job shadowing, the collaborative seeks to strengthen multigenerational understanding, create connections across UT Martin, support professional and leadership development and learn from the experiences and perspectives already present within our university community.
The program is facilitated by Merry Brown, university ombuds, with Emily Crider from the Department of Human Resources serving as assistant facilitator.
