The UT Martin Student Government Association Legislative Council was honored with an appreciation dinner Sept. 28 at the Dunagan Alumni Center. Those in attendance were (front row, l-r) Chancellor Yancy Freeman Sr., first lady Rafielle Freeman, Emma Allen, Paris Hodge, Callie McDonald, Ella Self, Lacy Collier, (back row, l-r) Dylan Sulcer, Leah Repp, Jobey Case, Rush Cox, Mason Lovell, Kameron Echols and Dr. Andy Lewter, vice chancellor for student affairs. Not pictured but attending the dinner were Savannah Miller and Bailey Parker. The Legislative Council serves as the executive leadership body of the Student Government Association. It is composed of elected student officers and appointed committee chairs who work together to provide leadership, oversee SGA committees and coordinate initiatives that represent and serve the student body.
