The University of Tennessee at Martin announced that it would waive the application fee for first-year students for those who apply to the university from Tuesday, Oct. 27, through Friday, Oct. 30.
“We want to make it as easy as possible for students to explore their opportunities at UT Martin,” said Christy Norton, director of undergraduate recruitment. “Offering another free application period is one way we can remove barriers and encourage more students to take that first step. We hope students who have not yet applied will take advantage of this opportunity.”
First-year students applying to UT Martin may do so at www.utm.edu/apply.
Any student who took dual enrollment courses through UT Martin or participated in the Governor’s Schools program can apply to UT Martin for free any time of the year.
Campus tours are given twice a day Monday through Friday, at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. To register for campus tours or learn about other ways of touring the main campus, go to www.utm.edu/visit.
