For the fifth consecutive year, the University of Tennessee System is participating in the Great Place to Work survey to better understand the employee experience and identify opportunities to strengthen our workplace culture.
A random sample of 5,000 employees will be invited to participate. Their confidential feedback will be important, as it helps the UT System understand what it’s doing well, where improvements can be made and how it can continue building a workplace where everyone can thrive.
Faculty and staff are asked to watch for the survey in their inbox and take a few minutes to share their perspective.
The survey includes questions about how faculty and staff feel about their role, their colleagues and leadership, and aspects of the workplace culture. It will also include a few questions about their demographic characteristics. All individual responses will remain strictly confidential and will be reported only in aggregate.
The survey will be open from Aug. 10 through Aug. 24 and should take about 12 minutes to complete. Those selected to participate are strongly encouraged to participate. Candid feedback will help the UT System continue to build a workplace where everyone can thrive.
