The University of Tennessee at Martin will host Future Skyhawk Night on Wednesday, April 8, in Memphis to help incoming first-year students and their families from the Memphis metro area understand the next steps after being admitted to UT Martin for the fall 2026 semester.
The open house-style event will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Memphis, and is coordinated by the UT Martin Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Representatives from several aspects of university life will be on hand, including those from the Office of Residence Life and Housing, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and the UT Martin One Stop Shop.
Incoming UT Martin first-year students in Shelby, Fayette and Tipton counties in Tennessee and DeSoto County in Mississippi were invited to the event and can register to attend by going to www.utm.edu/memphis.
“We want families to feel confident with their college decision and connected to any process they may need extra help with,” said Christy Norton, director of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Refreshments will be provided.
