Registration for UT Martin summer camps is open

The University of Tennessee at Martin Office of University Outreach announced that registration is now open for its summer camps, including the popular UT Martin Kid College and UT Martin Jr. Kid College.

Along with athletics summer camps, the university offers academic camps at the UT Martin main campus as well as academic camps at the UTM Parsons Center and the UTM Somerville Center.

Information and registration for the camps can be found at www.utmcamps.com. The site is updated regularly with new camps.

The UT Martin Jr. Kid College is for students rising into kindergarten, first or second grade next fall, and will be held the week of May 26-29.

Jr. Kid College will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily. Students may select from a variety of classes, including Karate Kids, Arts & Crafts Lab, Enjoy Japanese Culture, Game On and many more.

The UT Martin Kid College is for students rising into third, fourth or fifth grade next fall, and will be held the week of June 1-5.

Kid College will take place from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Students may select from a variety of classes, including Science Explorers, Make Your Own Music, A Taste of Art, Yoga Warriors and many more.

Registration for UT Martin Kid College is $250 for full-day registration and $150 for half-day registration. Registration for UT Martin Jr. Kid College is $175.

Other camps offered at UT Martin include the UT Martin Robotics Camp the week of June 8-12, the Skyhawk Discovery Camp the week of June 22-25 and the UT Martin Minecraft Camp the week of June 15-18.

Summer athletics camps offered through the UT Martin Camps and Youth Programs page are men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cheer and stunt, color guard and majorettes, equestrian, football, soccer, softball and volleyball.

Academic camps offered at the UTM Parsons Center are Parsons Kid College and Parsons Robotics Camp.

Academic camps offered at the UTM Somerville Center are the Somerville Kid College and Somerville Freshman Flight of Passage.
