UT Martin main campus comes into focus with new webcams

Persons wanting to see the University of Tennessee at Martin main campus or check weather conditions in Northwest Tennessee from most anywhere can continue to do both, thanks to new webcams recently installed at the university. The new cameras offer views to the west and northwest from atop the Joseph E. Johnson Engineering and Physical Sciences Building and the Ed and Carolyn Boling University Center.

A third older camera is located on the Andy Holt Humanities Building roof and provides an eastern view that includes the new Latimer-Smith Engineering and Science Building.

The two older cameras on the Johnson EPS Building and Boling University Center have been in place since 2014. Camera wear and tear prompted the change, and the new webcams offer clearer views of the campus, surrounding community and current weather conditions.

All three cameras are managed by the university’s offices of Information Technology Services and University Relations and can be viewed at www.utm.edu/visit-ut-martin.
