UT Martin Educator Preparation Program to host inaugural diversity workshop

The University of Tennessee at Martin Educator Preparation Program will present its inaugural diversity workshop titled “All of Us for All of Them: Our ONLY Path to OUR Success,” 4-6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, in the Boling University Center’s Watkins Auditorium. The workshop is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The workshop will include keynote speaker Dr. Vincent Windrow, a popular national keynote speaker and conference presenter. He was a featured speaker at the annual National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators and was one of six educators chosen to present at the Education Advisory Board’s ConnectED conference.

The mission of the university’s Educator Preparation Program is to educate teachers by supporting UT Martin’s 34 K-12 licensure programs. The program’s vision includes fostering community partnerships and creating a culture of learning that advances knowledge, values diversity and promotes social justice. The program is approved by the Tennessee State Board of Education and accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.
