Jake Bynum (seated, left), mayor of Weakley County, and Dr. Keith Carver (seated, right), chancellor of the University of Tennessee at Martin, signed a joint proclamation April 5 declaring the month of April to be Sexual Assault Awareness Month in both the county and on the university campus. This partnership with the Wo/Men’s Resource and Rape Assistance Program, known as WRAP, urges all members of the local and campus communities to be part of the solution to end sexual assault violence.
